Pacific Rim + F&F3 - Tokyo Drift
Jul. 20th, 2013 08:12 pm I saw Pacific Rim this week. Well. It's full of pretty robots but totally emotionless. It doesn't show anything you haven't seen multiple times either in anime, books or other movies. There was Idris Elba in it and I love him so I didn't mind too much paying the ticket.
Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) was beautiful and I love a woman who can kick ass as much as the men but her arms that look like she had never lift anything heavier than a pen whereas Charlie Hunnam was looking like he had to workout 10h a day to prep for the movie. I guess a woman needs to look a certain way to be appealing. *roll eyes*
And every time I see Charlie Hunnam I can't help but think of cute little Nathan from Queer as Folk. Time surely has passed.
I re-watched Tokyo Drift this afternoon. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. God, why did he have to die ?? I want Han and Gisele to end up happy in Tokyo and not dead dead dead. I was going to watch Fast Five ('cause the idea was to watch the Han story line) but I kinda want to watch the 4th to see Gisele's debut as well...
I'm totally addicted to this series.
Let's go for Fast Five.
